Though not controlled by the current safety regulation, from a practical safety point of view there are certain products and materials requiring the assessment of their unknown dangerous characteristics or safety features. They are, for example: ● Combustible dusts, organic solvents ● Discharge properties of static electricity accumulated on goods/materials ● Electrical wiring fittings used in explosive atmospheres ● Safety belts ● Dry-type safety devices for gas welding equipment ● Grinding wheels ● Safety shoes As a third party,TIIS undertakes such assessment tests on a voluntary basis and issues test reports. Test data endorsed with accumulated expertise and rich experience provide our clients with reliable and satisfactory results. These tests are conducted at the Sayama Headquarters.
